Villa Romana is an authentic Italian restaurant on Wood Street that has been a Liverpool city-centre favourite for decades. The setting is wholeheartedly rustic — exposed brickwork, tiled floors, arches, beamed ceilings, chunky wooden furniture and checked tablecloths, finished with Italianate frescoes and murals. The Space

The effect is of dining outdoors in an Italian courtyard, even in the middle of Liverpool.
Tucked to one side, a snug den with bold botanical wallpaper and upholstered chairs gives the room a relaxed, slightly bohemian corner.
